This place is super underrated. Used to be located in temple city but have reallocated to a food court in the same plaza with 99 ranch market. The bento has many options you can pick and customize, and the handrolls are good. Both are worth it for the price point offered. Have not tried the sushi rolls but I'd assume they would be good too. Slightly better than your average sushi restaurant.

We had the bento boxes and some Cali rolls. The food was very tasty and prices were reasonable especially if you take advantage of the buy one get one half off specials. Keeping this place on my rotation

I was pleasantly surprised ordering a bento box and a couple rolls from Sushi in the Box at the food court near 99 Ranch. The prices are pretty good and the food was tasty and fresh. I noticed the bento boxes had a few extras you might expect if you were at a restaurant. And it came with a Hi-chew candy, which my kid stole from me.

Definitely worth coming here for the value. The food is pretty good too. It’s in a small food court with lots of other Asian food establishments. I got a bento box with the mixed tempura and the tempura was nice and crunchy if that’s your preference. However, the mixed tempura comprised of only shrimp and sweet potato. I’m out a fan of sweet potato. I wish they offered other tempura like onion, zucchini or broccoli. The chicken cutlet was good, but if you don’t like the sauce to be on the cutlet, just let them know. I liked it the way it came There’s a special on the sushi where if you buy certain rolls you can buy other ones for half off. Not a bad deal.

Items 13-24 are on special currently for ‘Buy 1 get 1 at 50% off’. An order of 2 rainbow rolls and 2 dragon rolls came out to less than $33 dollars. Party tray #4 is an awesome deal for people who like it raw. Party tray #3 is great for no-raw lovers. Hand rolls are 2 pieces for $6. Great place to get take out. They ask for your phone number and you pick up by giving the last 4 digits of your phone number.

Still great since they moved next to 99 Ranch. Same big slices of sashimi in the classic bento. Same fresh shredded daikon (love it- I eat every shred). Same little side dishes (ocean salad. Salad, ginger, and a little Hi- chew candy). Keep it up guys!

3.5 stars. Great value for the bento boxes! Service was fast, tempura and fried pork and chicken cutlets were both delicious but sashimi could be a hit or miss, raw fish tasted fishy at times. And, they’ve started to charge $1 for the complimentary miso soup. (07/2021)
